Dr. Beauvil is a national board registered respiratory therapist with about 30 years of experience in the field. Currently, he is the Chairperson and Director of the Respiratory Therapy program at Mandl School, the College of Allied Health, and has worked in all aspects of the field. As an agent of social change, he has provided services and assisted those working and serving the community on social, cultural, and health prevention issues. He has been teaching for about 25 years and has been the recipient of several community and professional awards, enjoys spending time with family, and believes as Marian W Elderman stated that "Education is for improving the lives of others and for leaving your community and world better than you found it". The Beauvil Foundation, with the support of the community of caring people, can truly help live our world better.

Mrs. Beauvil started her career in the fashion industry and decided to go to nursing school after being touched by the empathy, kindness, and compassion of the African American nurse who took care of her at her time during and after a surgery at NYU Medical Center. As an emergency nurse, she enjoys taking care and working in areas where people are disenfranchised. She currently practices emergency nursing in New York and Connecticut. She enjoys traveling and spending time with family, especially her two little boys. Along with her husband, they travel to third-world countries when possible to help. She feels strongly that "it is a blessing to marry a person who shares my passion and who is devoted to lifting the spirit of others. The Beauvil Foundation is one of the best ways to give back."
